Konrad Lorenz Institute of Ethology (KLIVV), Vetmeduni

The KLIVV is part of Vetmeduni and promotes research on animal behavior. Researchers study a variety of taxa, especially vertebrates, both in the field and seminatural ecological conditions. They utilize molecular genetic tools, and the main focus is on evolutionary questions (behavioral ecology). The institute is located in the outskirts of Vienna, in the beautiful Vienna Woods.
