Molecular evolution is a long standing topic at the Institute for Theoretical Chemistry since the early work on quasi species and replicator-type equations. Much work has focused on studying the RNA sequence to structure map as an example of a computable genotype-phenotype map, as well as the resulting fitness landscapes. In addition, current work includes evolution of noncoding RNA families and reaction networks.
