The Division of Systematic and Evolutionary Botany of the Department of Botany and Biodiversity Research uses a broad conceptual basis and applies methodologies rooted in evolutionary genomics and systematics, biogeography, evolutionary cytogenetics and ecological genomics including epigenetics.
There is a focus on phylogenomics and phylogeography of plants, but we also have a strong interest in genome evolution, coevolution and speciation.
