Department of Applied Genetics and Cell Biology (DAGZ), Boku

The mission of the DAGZ is to perform cutting edge scientific research and to develop advanced technology and to provide high-quality teaching and training to assure competence in molecular and cell biology and related fields. Essential for this mission is maintenance of a vital and stimulating research and teaching environment. The DAGZ consists of eight research groups with scientific activities in glycobiology and plant biotechnology, plant developmental genetics, growth control and adaptation, fungal genetics and plant-pathogen interactions.
